Vanishing Figure — Monochrome Expressionist Portrait Art Print

A man's face emerges from heavy, dragged strokes of black paint on a cream ground, his features smeared and dissolving as if pulled downwards by time or memory. Only fragments of the eyes, nose and jaw remain.

Stark, raw and psychological, the portrait sits between presence and disappearance. It makes a powerful, thought-provoking statement in a minimalist or monochrome interior.

The features dragged downwards in heavy black strokes give this portrait a haunting sense of memory fading.

Perfect for: Studies, hallways, living rooms and monochrome gallery walls; a striking gift for collectors of expressionist and modern art.
